Wolf Point Kennels Health Care Warranty

All puppies are examined by a licensed veterinarian.  

15 DAY WARRANTY:  The buyer should have the puppy examined by a vet within fifteen days of sale at the buyer's sole expense.  If the veterinarian determines that an hereditary/congenital disorder exists or the puppy is diseased the buyer has one of two options: 

1. Return the puppy and replace the pup with another of equal value, OR

2.  Return the puppy and receive a refund of only the purchase price.  *We DO NOT reimburse for any medications or any vet fees for any reason or delivery charges.  If you choose to return the pet, it must be within two (2) days of the exam by your veterinian.  x-rays, ultra sounds, tracheal wash procedures, hypoglycemic treatment and emergency visits are not covered.  If the customer chooses an emergency treatment center for care, it will be at the sole expense of the customer.

12 Month Extended Warranty:  If within 12 months from the birth of your puppy and it is diagnosed by a licensed vet as having a debilitating hereditary defect, that in his/her opinion prevents your puppy from serving you as a companion pet, at the discretion of Wolf Point Kennels and our vet, we will offer the buyer 2 options:

1.  Replace the pet with a puppy of equal value, OR

2.  Receive a 100% refund of the original purchase price excluding shipping shipping charges and the buyer keeps the puppy.

The buyer must notify us within two (2) business days of diagnosis, must be within the 12 month warranty period.  To make a claim the buyer must provide a signed statement by a licensed vet indicating date of diagnosis, the nature of the defect, the reason the defect is hereditary or congenital in nature, and the reason why the defect prevents the puppy from being a companion pet.  The company may require a second opinion by our veterinarian and may require you to spay/neuter the puppy.  In all claims the buyer will be required to return all original registration documents, and statement from the vet as well as confirming x-rays.

General Terms and Conditions: 

1.  The buyer will keep the puppy up to date on all vaccinations.

2.  Wolf Point Kennels sells puppies for companion purposes only and there is no warranty on show/breeding.

3.  The seller extends this warranty for as long as the buyer, as stated in our paperwork is still the owner.

4.  Diagnostic procedures are Not covered.

Exclusions: In all breeds, cherry eye is not covered.

Buyer acknowledges that this written agreement constitutes the entire package regarding the health, condition, or loss of the puppy between the buyer and Wolf Point Kennels and that the buyer has relied on no oral representations to this agreement.
